Located amongst the meadows and fields of Essex, yet only a 10-minute drive to the Central Line at Theydon Bois, Cutlers Mews is a collection of 4 new barn houses, offering a retreat to a modern, yet peaceful life.

A rich history
In the 17th Century, Cutlers Forge belonged to the Cutlers Company of London. From its glowing furnaces and charcoal-blackened hammers, hundreds of swords, knives and blades were artfully crafted here.
We highlighted this vibrant history throughout the brand identity, crafting a look and feel influenced by the care and precision of the past.
Using a soft photography style with warm tones, we spoke to the city dwellers looking for a slice of peaceful countryside. All while highlighting Cutlers Mews’s close proximity to transport links back into the city.
